Internal gear pumps with magnetic coupling of R TRM series

The R TRM pump series is a gear pump with a magnetic drive.

The operation of a gear pump with a magnetic drive is based on the principle of transmitting torque through two magnets, one of which rotates from the drive, and the other is located inside the pump housing. A special alloy containing rare earth elements, such as samarium, which has high magnetic properties, allows you to transmit torque through the interaction of magnets through the body.

The magnetic drive guarantees the absence of leaks and allows the use of pumps of this series for pumping volatile, explosive or toxic substances.
Since the torque from the pump drive is transmitted through a magnetic coupling, chemical gear pumps with a magnetic coupling are limited in density and viscosity of the pumped medium. The density of the liquid should be no more than 1.6 kg / dm3.

A magnetic drive can affect various electronic and electrical devices, such as pacemakers, which must be considered when servicing a gear pump.
The presence of metal particles and inclusions in the pumped liquid is unacceptable.
